Initial advice
For initial advice our motoring offence lawyers will charge a fee of £250 plus VAT. This includes a detailed consultation with you, consideration of any documents and advice confirmed in writing setting out the legal position and your options.
Representation at court
For representation at a Magistrates’ Court hearing with a confirmed guilty plea from the outset our motoring offence lawyers will charge a fixed fee of £500 plus VAT. This includes a detailed consultation with you and preparing for and representation at a single hearing.
For representation at a Magistrates’ Court trial, our motoring offence lawyers will charge a fixed fee of £1,500 plus VAT for the first day and an additional fee of £750 plus VAT for each subsequent day. This includes a detailed consultation with you, full preparation of your case and representation at court.
For submissions to the court that you would suffer ‘exceptional hardship’ if you were disqualified from driving under the ‘totting-up’ provisions our motoring offence lawyers will charge a fixed fee of £1,500 plus VAT. This includes a detailed consultation with you, assistance in getting together your supporting evidence and representation at court.
Our motoring offence lawyers not only cover the courts in Luton but can also provide representation across the length and breadth of the country. For court hearings outside of our local area we will charge an extra £50 per hour plus VAT for time spent travelling, plus expenses usually mileage at £0.45p per mile and car parking).
